Bigger Than Football

While I begrudge no one their beliefs, I will always stand by mine

The Poetic Game by Michael E. Quigg - combining soccer and poetry

Saying,

"I am a fascist,

not a racist"

is like saying,

"I'm heart disease,

not cancer"

It is still a

TERRIBLE THING

Led by

TERRIBLE PEOPLE

who routinely commit

TERRIBLE ACTS

This is not

something to cling to,

it is something

to evolve away from

I respect

that you and I

think differently,

and I would never

try to change

your mind

That is a

journey

only you

can make

But I will never

wish Sunderland well

with you in charge

Because some things

are simply

bigger

than football.
